Tom Carney called in sick on 12/14/11. He returned on 12/15/11 and was advised by his supervisor that a note he brought in was not acceptable and he needed to gat a revised note. When he brought in the revised note, it went upstairs and was rejected. The reason was he didn't call in sick a minimum 1/2 hour prior to shift, but 20 minutes after his shift was supposed to start. Remedy: Since it was his 4th instance in the absenteeism program, he was suspended 5 days and he wants to be paid for said suspension.
