OFFICIAL NOTICE

Dear Sisters and Brothers:

Nominations for Financial Secretary/Treasurer as well as other possible vacancies of Union Officers of Local Union 1342 of the Amalgamated Transit Union will be held at all union meetings held on May 14, 2008, including Coach USA, Grand Island Transit and NFT Metro Systems, Inc.

The election will be conducted by mail. Ballots will be mailed out by Election Services on approximately June 5, 2008. A tentative election date has been set for June 26, 2008. Election Services will tally the votes at the Union Office located at 196 Orchard Park Rd. West Seneca  NY  14224.

Nominations and elections are held in accordance with Section Six of our Local By-Laws, which are governed by the International Constitution and General laws.
